Federal prosecutors have announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with a network of high-end brothels operating in greater Boston and eastern Virginia. The brothels allegedly provided sex for pay to a wide range of clientele, including elected officials, high-tech and pharmaceutical executives, military officers, government contractors with security clearances, professors, and more. The brothels required interested buyers to provide employer information and references before booking sessions with prostitutes, charging customers between $350 and $600 per hour.
