Escaped murderer changes appearance, attempts to contact former co-workers in nationwide search

Authorities are searching for an escaped murderer, Danelo Souza Cavalcante, who has managed to evade capture since breaking out of a Pennsylvania prison over a week ago. Cavalcante recently changed his appearance, stole a dairy delivery van, and attempted to contact former co-workers. Despite the setback, law enforcement remains determined to recapture him and is utilizing various resources in the search. The stolen van was later found abandoned, and authorities are concerned that Cavalcante may try to obtain another vehicle. He had been serving a life sentence for fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend and is considered extremely dangerous. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his capture.
