Driver Claims Treat Williams Was a Friend, Disputes Charges in Fatal Crash

Ryan Koss, the driver accused of causing a crash that killed actor Treat Williams, denied wrongdoing and stated that charges are not warranted. Koss, who considered Williams a friend, expressed his devastation and offered his condolences to the actor's family. While a Vermont State Police investigation concluded that Koss' vehicle pulled in front of Williams' motorcycle, Koss maintains that he obeyed all relevant traffic laws and believes the charges are unwarranted. Williams, known for his roles in "Everwood" and "Hair," among others, was pronounced dead at a medical center in New York.
