Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira has agreed to a 16-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information. Teixeira, who accessed and posted hundreds of classified documents on Discord, will also undergo a debrief with the Defense Department and the Justice Department. Prosecutors revealed that Teixeira leaked information about compromised accounts, troop movements in Ukraine, and a plot by a foreign adversary to attack U.S. forces abroad. His sentencing is scheduled for September 27.
