Israeli authorities have shown graphic footage of killings and mutilations carried out by Hamas during their rampage in southern Israel on 7 October. The 43-minute compilation, captured from various sources, including security cameras and social media, was shown to foreign journalists to counter attempts to deny or downplay the extent of the atrocities. The footage depicted the killing of children, decapitations, and other brutal acts. The screening took place amidst renewed appeals to Israel to halt its bombing of Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of at least 400 Palestinians in the past 24 hours and displaced over 1.4 million people.
