Israeli Strikes in South Lebanon Kill Senior MP's Son and Seven Others

Hezbollah has announced that five of its fighters, including the son of a senior lawmaker, were killed in skirmishes at the Israel-Lebanon border since the Israel-Hamas war began. The son of Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc leader, Abbas Raad, was among those killed in an Israeli strike on a house in south Lebanon. The escalating exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah, as well as Palestinian groups, have raised concerns of a broader conflict. The death toll on the Lebanese side stands at 107, including 75 Hezbollah fighters and 14 civilians. On the Israeli side, six soldiers and three civilians have been killed.
