Erdogan Invites Elon Musk to Build Tesla Factory in Turkey

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has asked Tesla CEO Elon Musk to build a Tesla factory in Turkey, stating that many Turkish suppliers are already working with Tesla and that Turkey is among the top candidates for the next factory. Erdogan also expressed openness to cooperation on artificial intelligence and invited Musk to attend a technology festival in Turkey. Musk, who is currently in the U.S., has not yet responded to the request. Tesla has been expanding its global footprint and recently expressed interest in building a factory in India.
