Amazon is implementing a "return-to-hub" policy, requiring employees to relocate to their teams' designated "hub" offices or face being considered a "voluntary resignation." The move is aimed at encouraging more in-person work and collaboration. Employees who refuse to relocate have 60 days to find a new team or face resignation. The policy has sparked frustration among employees, particularly those hired for virtual jobs or who moved to remote locations during the pandemic. Amazon's spokesperson stated that relocation benefits will be available, and exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
