OpenAI is expanding the capabilities of its popular generative AI assistant, ChatGPT, by introducing voice and image-based features. Users will now be able to have voice conversations with the chatbot, asking questions or requesting it to generate stories. Additionally, ChatGPT will support image search, allowing users to upload pictures and ask for explanations or instructions. The voice feature is powered by a new text-to-speech model, and OpenAI has collaborated with voice actors to create five different voices. The new features will be rolled out to paying subscribers in the next two weeks.
