Bed bugs have been found at four Las Vegas Strip hotels over the past five months, according to reports from the Southern Nevada Health District. Instances include a live bed bug discovered at the Encore in December and complaints at the Venetian, Mirage, and Excalibur. The Nevada Resort Association emphasized the rarity of such incidents and stated that swift action is taken when reported, including relocating guests and extensive cleaning and extermination of affected rooms. The health district can issue fees and close rooms if a persistent problem is found.
