Tesla Extends Dashcam Retention to 24 Hours on Large USB Drives

Tesla will dynamically adjust dashcam recording length based on the connected USB drive, boosting retention from a fixed 60 minutes to as much as 3 hours on a 128GB drive and up to 24 hours on 1TB+ drives, with 4 MB/s sustained write speed required; the feature is rolling out to China first and will expand regionally, enabling longer review windows for incidents.
