"Nintendo Sues Yuzu Emulator Creators for Alleged Massive Piracy Facilitation"

Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against the developers of the Yuzu emulator, alleging that it violates the Digital Millennium Copyright Act by facilitating piracy of copyrighted Nintendo games. The company is seeking a permanent injunction to stop Yuzu, as well as control of its domain names and social media presence, and monetary damages. While emulators have legal precedent, Nintendo argues that Yuzu is primarily designed to circumvent its control over its games. Yuzu has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
