Intel's Data Center Roadmap Reveals New Power-Efficient Chips for 2024-2025

Intel has announced that its first power-efficient semiconductor for data center customers, Sierra Forest, will be delivered in H1 2024. The company's roadmap is on track, with the fifth-generation Xeon processor, Emerald Rapids, set to be delivered at the end of this year, and the next-generation Granite Rapids to be delivered next year after the release of Sierra Forest. Intel is also building the Intel Developer Cloud with 256 Xeon chips and 512 Gaudi chips for AI, which will be available for AI developers to train and run new models.
