Borderlands 4's First Major DLC Introduces C4SH and an Icy Vault Adventure

Gearbox's Borderlands 4 kicks off its first major DLC, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, releasing March 26, 2026 on PS5. The expansion adds story missions, a new Vault Hunter named C4SH who uses a deck of cards for abilities, and a new icy zone called The Whispering Glacier. A shared-progression update will sync map progress, SDU tokens, Hover Drives, cosmetics, and activity across all characters. Access requires character level 13 or completing the “A Lot to Process” mission, or choosing a level-13 Vault Hunter from the main menu.
