Amazon Unveils AI-Powered Image Generator, Enters Competitive Market

Amazon has unveiled its own AI-powered image generator called Titan Image Generator, which is now available in preview for AWS customers on Bedrock, Amazon's AI development platform. The generator can create new images based on text descriptions or customize existing images, allowing users to swap backgrounds and generate lifestyle images while retaining the main subject. It was trained on diverse datasets and includes built-in mitigations for toxicity and bias. Images created with the generator will have a tamper-resistant invisible watermark by default to combat the spread of AI-generated misinformation.
