TikTok Kills TikTok Now, Abandons BeReal Trend.

TikTok is discontinuing TikTok Now, a feature that was nearly identical to last year's viral sensation BeReal. BeReal was Apple's iPhone app of the year for 2022, but its popularity has tapered off. TikTok Now required users to take front and rear photos simultaneously, and also allowed for 10-second TikTok-like videos. The feature was part of the main TikTok app in the US, but it's unclear if the separate TikTok Now app in other regions will also be discontinued.
