Science vlogger Mark Rober attempted to hide from a determined German Shepherd named Zinka, who works with K9 Search and Rescue. Rober consulted Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame to debunk myths about bloodhounds. German Shepherds are the most common breed for search dogs as they are just as good at discerning smells as bloodhounds but are also extremely intelligent. Zinka's handler, Shay Cook, has over 30 years of experience in search and rescue. Dogs like Zinka can discern smells from scent molecules left behind by humans.
