East Hampton Megamansion Sells for About $85M, Woven in Fitzgerald and Kennedy Lore

A 3.6-acre East Hampton estate on Dune Road, known as Dune Cottage, with a 14,000-square-foot main house, a two-bedroom guest house, 225 feet of ocean frontage and a dune-top setting, went under contract for about $84.9 million (roughly $85 million) after being listed for $120 million in 2024. The property, tied to F. Scott Fitzgerald and Sara Murphy and once connected to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s sister Lee Radziwill, was rebuilt by Ann Tenenbaum and late Thomas H. Lee following a 2013 fire, marking a notable sale in the Hamptons luxury real estate market.
