Geoff Turk, the driver of the NHRA Factory Experimental (FX) racing "BlackbirdX" Dodge, has teamed up with veteran racer Allen Johnson after a near-fatal accident. Turk suffered a brain bleed and was forced into retirement from driving, but he decided to continue repairing and rebuilding his car. With the help of sponsors and supporters, Turk's BlackbirdX is ready to race again, and he chose Johnson as its new pilot. The duo aims to compete in the full five races of the inaugural NHRA Factory X season and be competitive in the Mopar-powered Dodge.
