Timepiece Crafted from Million-Year-Old Meteorite

Designers Phillip Toledano and Alfred Chan have created a unique watch, the B/1M, carved entirely from the Muonionalusta meteorite, which struck Earth a million years ago. This Brutalist-inspired timepiece features a meteorite case, dial, and lugs, making it a rare and expensive creation, with raw meteorite costing more per gram than gold. The watch, paired with a gray ostrich leg strap, will be auctioned in New York, with an estimated value between $8,000 and $16,000. The designers aim to explore new materials and forms in watchmaking.
