Unreal Engine Takes Fortnite Creative to the Next Level.

Epic Games has released Unreal Editor for Fortnite, a toolset that allows players to create their own games within the battle royale. The editor includes a new programming language called Verse and promises to pay creators for their work. Players have already used the tools to create Mario Kart race tracks, Counter-Strike levels, and even a recreation of GTA V's Grove Street. Epic's CEO sees this as a step towards creating the metaverse, where games can share characters and other assets. The speed and creativity of these creations show that Fortnite is now the least interesting thing about Fortnite.
