The Pros and Cons of Sony's PlayStation 5 Pro

Sony is rumored to be developing a PlayStation 5 Pro with a tentative launch date of late 2024, according to Insider Gaming. The upgraded console is expected to have better ray tracing abilities and improved visual fidelity and performance. However, the ongoing chip shortage and the fact that many developers are still releasing games on both PS4 and PS5 may delay the launch. Insider Gaming also believes that a new version of the PS5 with a detachable disc drive will launch this year, while the PS6 won't arrive until at least 2028.
