Final Fantasy 16 draws heavy inspiration from Game of Thrones, with similarities in characters, plot points, and locations. The protagonist, Clive, shares traits with Jon Snow, while his brother Joshua is similar to Bran Stark. The Rosfield parents are reminiscent of Ned and Catelyn Stark, and Clive's companion Jill has a backstory similar to Theon Greyjoy. The world of Valisthea is reminiscent of Westeros, and the apocalyptic evil in the story has similarities to the Night King.
