"Somber Echoes: A Greco-Roman Sci-Fi Metroidvania Unveiled"

Rock Pocket Games and Lav Games, in collaboration with publisher Bonus Stage, have unveiled "Somber Echoes," a sci-fi Metroidvania set 3000 years in the future aboard the Greco-Roman spaceship Atromitos, featuring seven visually distinct districts and powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game, with 2.5D graphics, aims to offer a unique take on the genre with its Greek-tragedy inspiration and a storyline centered around stopping the unraveling of the universe. Scheduled for release on PC this Fall, players will explore the vessel as Adrestia, gaining powers and skills to save their ultimate destiny.
