Smite 2 has been announced at the Smite World Championships, set to arrive on various platforms with closed alpha testing in spring 2024. The game will feature 25 gods at launch, with plans to eventually include all gods from the original game. Smite 2 will offer full cross-play and cross-progression, built in Unreal Engine 5, and aims to enhance gameplay while maintaining the familiar Smite feel. The original Smite will continue to be supported, with the addition of its 130th hero later this year.
