The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, expressed his desire to expand the Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto franchises, comparing them to the longevity of the James Bond series. With Rockstar Games currently focused on developing Grand Theft Auto 6, it is likely that Red Dead Redemption 3 will not be released for several years, possibly coinciding with the launch of next-gen consoles.
