Trainers using the Synchro Machine feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's new DLC, The Indigo Disk, should be cautious as it allows them to knock out shiny Pokémon while playing as their Pokémon pals. The feature works similarly to Let's Go! but requires players to prompt each fight. While the game won't automatically battle and defeat a shiny, it also won't allow players to catch one. Trainers can exit the Synchro Machine and battle as a trainer to catch a shiny if they encounter one.
