Outer Worlds 2 PlayStation Release Still Undecided, Says Xbox Game Studios Head

Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty says Microsoft hasn't made a decision on a PlayStation release for The Outer Worlds 2, but tends to commit to communities on other platforms where franchises already exist. The sequel was first announced at E3 2021 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and there's been no word of a PlayStation release to this point. Booty's statement could mean timed console exclusivity for Xbox, a multiplatform release day and date, or no PlayStation version at all.
