Niantic Addresses Pokémon Go Backlash and Remote Raid Changes

Niantic has responded to the HearUsNiantic movement and the controversy surrounding the Remote Raid feature in Pokémon Go. In an interview, Pokémon Go director Michael Steranka and senior producer John Funtanilla acknowledged the community backlash but stated that they believe their recent decisions are necessary for the longevity of the game and align with their mission. They also mentioned that the team has been working on new features for the game that will be released over the course of the year. Niantic has no plans to reverse recent changes to the game.
