Motion Twin, the developer behind the acclaimed game Dead Cells, has announced their next project called Windblown. Described as a "lightning-fast combat roguelite," Windblown is a tough but fair combat-focused adventure where players take on the role of Leapers, warriors tasked with protecting their home world from the deadly Vortex and its minions. The game features rapid-fire dash mechanics, the ability to swap between multiple weapons, and the need to absorb fallen warriors' memories to master different fighting styles. Windblown will be released on Steam early access in 2024, with beta tests planned prior to launch.
