Life by You, an upcoming open-world life simulator game by Paradox Interactive, doesn't have loading screens as every NPC is accurately modeled every second of every year. The game's early access release date is set for September 12, 2023. The game's head, Rod Humble, explains that the goal was to build a life simulator where the core tenant was freedom, and loading screens stood in the way of that. The game's real-time simulation took the team "quite a few years" to figure out, but the result is an extremely immersive life sim.
