"From DLC to Standalone: The Rapid Evolution of Like a Dragon Gaiden"

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was originally planned as DLC for the main entry in the series, Infinite Wealth, but was developed into a standalone game in just six months. The spin-off returns to the action brawling roots of the Like a Dragon series. RGG Studio worked on all three games simultaneously, often getting confused about which game they were working on. The studio director, Masayoshi Yokoyama, mentioned that he does not block anyone on social media, seemingly referencing Hideki Kamiya, who is known for blocking people on Twitter. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be released on November 8th for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
