Final Fantasy Producer Joins Zelda Fandom

Naoki Yoshida, the producer of Final Fantasy, was seen playing the new Zelda game on the Switch ahead of a developer livestream for Final Fantasy XIV. Fans assumed he was playing Zelda and he confirmed it by turning his Switch around to reveal he was playing Tears of the Kingdom on the new Zelda-themed OLED Switch. The event was enough to get the hashtag “吉田ゼルダ” or “Yoshida Zelda” trending in Japan.
