Black Mesa, a fan remake of Half-Life, has surpassed the original game in terms of reviews on Steam, with 90,118 overwhelmingly positive reviews compared to Valve's 71,940. The developers of Black Mesa have expressed their gratitude on Twitter. Despite not being made by Valve, Black Mesa has earned its reputation as a true Half-Life remake. Half-Life 2 Remastered has also appeared on Steam, while Half-Life Mmod was released earlier this year.
