Factorio: Space Age Expansion Takes Players to New Frontiers

Developer Wube Software has announced the first expansion for the acclaimed automation sim game Factorio, titled Space Age. The expansion will continue the game's journey after players have launched rockets to escape the crash-landed planet, allowing them to explore new worlds, exploit unique resources, and manage interplanetary space platforms. Space Age will feature four pre-defined planets with different themes, challenges, and mechanics, and players will need to send multiple rockets into space to gather resources and unlock new technologies. The expansion is expected to be released in about one year, alongside a 2.0 update that includes improvements for all players.
