Sharkmob, the developers behind Tom Clancy's The Division, have announced their new game, Exoborne, a tactical, open-world extraction shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by natural disasters. Players take on the role of Reborn, survivors equipped with powerful Exo-Rigs, and must scavenge for resources, fight bandits and other players, and reach extraction points. Exoborne emphasizes gear and loadout rather than RPG-style progression, offering weapons, upgrades, and traversal abilities through the Exo-Rigs. The game will feature multiplayer elements, a premium paid model with live-service updates, and promises to differentiate itself with its dynamic environments. Exoborne is set to release on PC and consoles in 2024.
