Dungeons & Dragons: Updates, Costs, and New Products for 2023-2024.

Wizards of the Coast is updating the core books of Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition, including the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual, with a release date set for 2024. The update, called "One D&D," aims to make the game more accessible and will feature 12 classes, 48 subclasses, and over 144 origin options in the Player's Handbook. The Dungeon Master's Guide will have a new layout and address common questions, while the Monster Manual will include about 500 baddies, including new foes. The update will be 100% compatible with all 5e content.
