"Diablo 4 Season 1: Malignance Unleashed with New Quests, Bosses, and Gear"

Diablo 4's Season 1 Update, called "Season of the Malignant," is set to release on July 20th, featuring a battle pass with a free and premium track. The premium battle pass costs 1000 Platinum ($10), or players can purchase the accelerated battle pass for 2,800 Platinum ($25). The update introduces a new character, Kormind, and revolves around a malignant force corrupting creatures in the game. Players can collect Malignant Hearts to unlock powerful abilities and face off against a new end-game boss. Existing characters can transfer some progress to a Seasonal character, but a new character must be created for each season.
