"Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.4 Hotfix Temporarily Balances Necromancers"

Blizzard has released a hotfix for Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.4, temporarily nerfing the Necromancer class due to performance issues with the Blood Lance skill. The hotfix limits the skill to piercing a maximum of 10 enemies. This change is temporary while the development team reworks the Legendary Aspect, which is expected to be implemented during Season 1 or shortly after. The hotfix also includes stability improvements and changes to the Whisper Cache. Diablo 4 Season 1, called "Season of the Malignant," will introduce new gear, a boss battle, powers, and a questline, with renown carrying over for new seasonal characters.
