D&D's Core Rulebooks Get Revamped with New Products and Higher Costs.

Wizards of the Coast is releasing updated versions of Dungeons & Dragons' core rulebooks, including the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual, in 2024. The new Player's Handbook will have more art and streamlined language, with character creation moved behind the game's fundamental rules. The Dungeon Master's Guide will include a revised section on creating homebrew campaigns, while the Monster Manual will feature more than 500 monsters, each with its own unique art. The updates aim to make the game more accessible and retain compatibility with previous 5th edition products.
