"Controversial Ark: Survival Remaster Faces Delay and Discount"

Studio Wildcard has announced a delay in the release of Ark: Survival Ascended, a remaster of Ark: Survival Evolved, due to challenges working with Unreal Engine 5.2. The game will now launch in October 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the inclusion of The Island DLC expansion. The remaster of the Scorched Earth expansion has been delayed until December, while the Ragnarok and Abberation expansions are set to launch in the first quarter of 2024. The game's early access price will be $45, with a launch discount price of $40. Additionally, the original game's servers will shut down on September 30. Studio Wildcard is also working on a sequel, Ark 2, set to release in late 2024 and featuring actor Vin Diesel.
