"Baldur's Gate 3: Patch Delays and Appearance Changes in Latest Update"

Patch 3 for Baldur's Gate 3, originally scheduled for September 21, will now be released on September 22. The patch will introduce a magic mirror in the game's camp, allowing players to customize their character's appearance, voice, and pronouns. However, race, body type, and the appearance of origin characters cannot be changed. The patch will also include general performance improvements and bug fixes, particularly for the game's third act. Larian is currently investigating an issue with the PS5 version, which causes the game to crash when connected to the internet. In the meantime, players can take their system offline and reboot the game as a temporary workaround. Cross-play and an Xbox Series X|S release are also planned for the future.
