Wizards of the Coast has released a new campaign book for Dungeons & Dragons titled "Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk," which is designed to appeal to fans of the popular video game Baldur's Gate 3. The campaign takes place in the Sword Coast of The Forgotten Realms and features encounters with mindflayers, similar to those in Baldur's Gate 3. The book also includes connections to other adventures in the D&D lore and provides guidance for Dungeon Masters. While it doesn't introduce new character races or classes, it serves as an excellent starting point for new players and will be available starting September 19.
