Avowed: A Silly Skyrim-Like Game with Obsidian's Signature Depth

Obsidian's upcoming first-person fantasy RPG, Avowed, will be smaller in scale than initially planned, similar to The Outer Worlds rather than Skyrim, according to Obsidian boss Feargus Urquhart. The game is set in Eora, the world of Pillars of Eternity, and features first-person melee and magic battles in brightly coloured and vibrant environments. Story and companions are said to be important to the game, and it is set for release in 2024. Obsidian is also working on The Outer Worlds 2 and continues to support Grounded and Pentiment.
