Universal Studios Japan has revealed details of the upcoming Donkey Kong Country expansion in Super Nintendo World. The expansion will feature an interactive minecart coaster based on the popular Donkey Kong Country series, as well as a shop called Funky's Fly 'n' Buy. The area will also include Donkey Kong-themed Power-Up Bands for visitors to interact with the environment. The Donkey Kong Country expansion is set to open in spring 2024, increasing the size of Super Nintendo World by about 70 percent.
