AVENGED SEVENFOLD has launched Ticketpass, a blockchain-based verification and rewards system for fans to acquire tickets for their upcoming tour. The system will reward fans who participate in merchandise, listening habits, music consumption, live events, and other metrics. The Ticketpass will be broken into tiers, and fans who have purchased merchandise, vinyl, and attended shows will be able to purchase tickets sooner than others. The system aims to prevent resellers from making money off fans and ensure that actual fans get tickets first.
