Duolingo is developing an app for teaching music and is currently seeking an expert in music education to lead curriculum development. The app will be grounded in learning science and will feature "learning by doing" activities. Duolingo's Music app will join the company's growing list of learning applications, which includes its ABC, English Test, and Math apps. The move is part of the company's diversification strategy, which has resulted in a 67% increase in paid subscribers from the previous year.
