Sega Acquires Rovio, Maker of Angry Birds, for $776 Million

Sega has announced its acquisition of Rovio Entertainment, the Finnish mobile game company behind Angry Birds, in a "friendly takeover" for €706 million. The acquisition is expected to conclude in the second quarter of the 2024 fiscal year after antitrust reviews.
