ReedPop Explores Sale of Leading Gaming Websites and Publications

ReedPop, the parent company of Gamer Network, is exploring the potential sale of its UK-based gaming media business, which includes Eurogamer, GamesIndustry.biz, VG247, Rock Paper Shotgun, and Dicebreaker. The decision comes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on events, leading to the closure of USGamer and EGX Rezzed. ReedPop believes that new ownership will provide better conditions for the growth of the business, but the sale does not affect other ReedPop properties such as MCM ComicCon and EGX.
