Porsche 911 Turbo S Takes on Lucid Air Dream Performance in Epic Drag Race

Carwow organized a drag race between the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Lucid Air Dream Performance to compare the performance of an internal combustion engine (ICE) car against an electric vehicle (EV). Despite the Lucid Air's heavier weight, its electric motor's instant response and high power allowed it to win the first two drag races. The Porsche won the third race with the stability control turned off, but lost in subsequent rolling races and a race to the full mile. The Lucid Air Dream Performance, with 1,111 hp and 1,025 lb-ft of torque, showcased the potential of EVs in terms of acceleration and performance.
